One million pilgrims to Perform Hajj this year

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that around one million pilgrims, both domestic and foreign, will be allowed to perform Hajj this year.

In an official statement released by Hajj and Umrah Ministry KSA, it is said that pilgrims coming from specific countries for this Year’s Hajj will be in accordance to the quotas allocated to each country and in consideration of compliance with all heath recommendations.

Hajj and Umrah Ministry KSA said that this year hajj is open to those who are under 65 years old and have received covid vaccination approved Saudi Health Ministry.

Saudi Hajj and Umrah Ministry Said that foreign pilgrims will be required to submit a Covid-19 PCR test performed within 72 hours at the Time to departure to KSA.

last year a limited number of locals performed Hajj due to the Corona pandemic while in the year 2020 Hajj was postponed keeping in view of controlling the spread of covid-19
