PESHAWAR: The Education Employees Foundation (EEF) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held a lucky draw for the allotment of plots in their employees at Directorate of Archives &Libraries in a ceremony on Tuesday.
The Minister for Higher Education KP, Mushtaq Ghani was the chief guest on the occasion. He was flanked by Syed Zafar Ali Shah, Secretary Higher Education KP and other educationists. The draw was held in a very transparent manner, lasted for two hours. According to FEF officials, thousands of applicants had applied for the plots from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, 440 plots would be allotted to the EEF employees and government servants from different departments this time around. The estimated cost of the land accrued for the scheme is 480 million rupees.
Mushtaq Ghani said on the occasion, education was the top priority of PTI-led provincial government and thus the government had allocated 138b for education in the budget for the year 2017-18. Moreover, he said, depoliticization of Police and health reforms had brought a radical change in the province and the policy of zero tolerance to corruption was paying the dividends. He lauded his leadership for changing the status quo and reforming every sector of the government.
